73 Injured In 64-Vehicle Pileup On Pennsylvania Interstate

A Bridgewater woman was one of three people who were killed Saturday morning in a 64-vehicle crash on Interstate 78 in central Pennsylvania. Francisca V. Pear, 54, was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash that sent more than 70 people to the hospital, Pennsylvania State Police said. Also pronounced dead at the scene were Kenneth J. Lesko, 50, of Bethpage, N.Y., and Alfred Dean Kinnick, 57, of Limestone, Tenn. The major crash occurred shortly before 9:30 a.m. on the westbound lanes of I-78 in Bethel Township, Pa., State Police said. Bethel is about 75 miles northwest of Philadelphia.
