Beware of Scams Connected to Storm Damage, Mesa Official Says

While there are no confirmed cases, the city of Mesa is reminding residents impacted by the Sept. 8 storm and subsequent flooding to beware of potential scams involving home repairs, as well as impostors. If someone shows up at your door saying they happened to be in the neighborhood and are offering to do repairs from a storm it is probably a scam.
