EF1 Tornado Damages Property In Boone County, Indiana

The National Weather Service says an EF1 tornado with estimated winds of 100 mph touched down near Zionsville Thursday afternoon. That’s a preliminary assessment. No injuries were reported, but a barn was destroyed and some property damage was reported. The tornado took down some fencing in a Zionsville neighborhood. "We’ve had a barn that got struck by the high winds; I believe a funnel cloud came down. I can’t confirm that at this point in time. A lot of the debris came across the street here at 875 East and damaged some residences.
