According to a federal indictment, Janio Vico and Jharildan Vico had a plan: own a rehabilitation center, put a doctor up front, stage a few car accidents and then make at least $1 million in false insurance claims. Then the feds found out. The Vicos were arrested Thursday and face 12 counts of mail fraud and one count of conspiracy to commit mail fraud. The two men who operate V & C Rehabilitation Center out of Lake Worth face up to 20 years imprisonment per count if convicted.
It is unclear from the report how or if the two men who share the last name are related.
