Orlando adjuster charged with insurance fraud

An Orlando public adjuster faces up to 30 years in prison if convicted of inflating an insurance claim by more than $500,000, according to Florida Chief Financial Officer Jeff Atwater. Robert Eugene Leverett II is accused with overestimating fire-related damages to an Orlando motel to increase his fee, which amounts to 10 percent of the money paid by an insurance company, according to Atwater’s office.
