FORINCON was founded by Kenneth H. Andrews, John J. Golder and Jeffery L. Key, former Special Agents/Certified Fire Investigators/Certified Explosive Specialists, Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF). Ken Andrews is located in Raleigh, North Carolina; John Golder is located in Wilmington, North Carolina and Jeff Key is located in Atkinson, North Carolina, approximately 35 miles northwest of Wilmington, North Carolina.
Ken Andrews, John Golder and Jeff Key have a combined total of 44 years as Certified Fire Investigators (CFI), 53 years as Post Blast Investigators and 86 years in Law Enforcement with most of that time spent in criminal investigations for federal criminal investigation agencies. Each has received extensive training in origin and cause of fires and explosions. Each has extensive experience in origin and cause investigations to include; large loss, commercial, residential and vehicle fires/post blast investigations. Each has taught extensively regarding topics within the fields of origin and cause of fires and post blast investigations. No matter which one comes to conduct the investigation or training you will get a highly trained and experienced investigator/instructor.
Ken Andrews, John Golder and Jeff Key conduct fire/explosion investigations and consult regarding fire and explosion investigations as well as criminal investigations. Additionally, they provide training in various topics related to fire and explosion investigations. They are Certified Fire Investigators through the International Association of Arson Investigators and the National Board on Fire Service Professional Qualifications. Ken Andrews is also a Certified Fire and Explosion Investigator through the National Association of Fire Investigators. Additionally they are Certified Hazardous Materials Technicians which will allow them to conduct investigations at HazMat scenes. Ken Andrews, John Golder and Jeff Key have testified as experts in origin and cause of fires in both state, federal and United States Military courts.

Origin & Cause Investigation
All of ForInCon's investigators are retired ATF Certified Fire Investigators, so you know you will only be getting the best trained origin and cause experts in the world. Our team has managed and investigated fires throughout the world, including large sale commercial/industrial complexes, residential, vehicle, and marine vessels.
All members of ForInCon were Certified Explosives Specialist with the Bureau of ATF. We have a combined 75 years of managing and investigating explosives and explosion incidents, involving both accidental and intentional incidents. We have travelled throughout the world investigating incidents that involve everything from fuel/air explosions, fireworks, explosives and bombings.
Members of ForInCon have provided training to thousands of International, Federal, State and Local investigators. We have taught fire and explosion science, evidence collection, scene documentation, report writing, scene management and all other aspects of fire and explosion investigation throughout the world. Members of ForInCon have been responsible for creating and instructing fire and explosion training programs for the National Fire Academy, Bureau of ATF's Certified Fire Investigator and Explosives Specialist Certification Programs, Federal Bureau of Investigation and the International Law Enforcement Agency (ILEA).
